Housekeeping

Communication

Team 4 will be using emails and Teams daily to communicate with students. Students will receive the day plan at the start of every day, roughly at 8:00am.

Roll Marking

Team 4 will be using Teams to host a meeting with students and mark the roll during this time.

Learning Expectations

Students will access English and Maths tasks daily. They will also access other areas of the curriculum throughout the week. Students will be asked to write down their answers in an exercise book. Students will also be working in PowerPoints/Word Documents that are being provided for them.

Learning Intention:

  • Use an appropriate structure to create prayers of blessing, petition and intercession 
  • Demonstrate understanding of the significance of these forms of prayer for Christian communities.   
  • Participate respectfully in a variety of prayer experiences, including meditative prayer and prayers of blessing, petition and intercession.

  • Identify the connection between the Sacraments of Anointing of the Sick and of Penance and Jesus’ healing ministry 
  • Identify words, actions and symbols used in Anointing of the Sick and Penance to communicate God’s healing of body/spirit and God’s love and forgiveness respectively.  
  • Create prayers of petition, intercession and blessing using appropriate prayer structures, including litanies, to demonstrate the role of these prayers in Christian life.  
  • Students respectfully participate in meditative prayer.
